Zynga Slingo

Analysis
A cross between Slots and Bingo, with double the gambling addiction intended. Instead of someone picking up balls and calling them one at a time you get to spin the slots and look for matches or special items. Between the insufferable lag time and pointless game play I couldn't carry on past the first few stages. And to make things worse, it seems the main theme of the game is a clown, I despise clowns, everything about them is upsetting.

Game Play
Players click “spin” and match numbers to fill a slingo card. They can increase their score by earning balls and coins. Players get a “slingo” by matching five numbers vertically, horizontally or diagonally. Players can wager their points — the whole loot or just a percentage — and flip the devil vs. cherub coin to potentially win big or lose it all. Players can gift others with power-ups or act as a Joker.
Spin the slots and look for a match before the time runs out, however I've let it run out often and nothing happens, at least as far as I can see.

Some achievement element per stage, such as filling your slingo card or reaching the score milestones will award rings but rings play no part towards game development.

Summary
I don't know if anyone would actually enjoy this game, maybe someone who has a thing for clowns and winnable pretend gambling. Honestly I don't think Zynga Slingo will be up and running for too much longer, to least for the sake of the developers and facebook users.

Storage Wars: The Game

Overview
Yes, Storage Wars the Game, as in the game based on the A&E TV show Storage Wars, no relation to Star Wars. So if you've seen the show your a step ahead, basically you go to different storage lockers and auction houses and bid on storage lockers against two other bidders. When you roll your mouse over an item in the locker you see an idea of the sale price such as, $432 - $?, so you at least have clue to what the items are worth.

The doors to the storage room are open and you’ve got to decide if its filled with junk or treasure. Do you have what it takes to find the treasure in the trash?

Content
So of course the main part of the game is to participate in auctions and make money. You can also upgrade your house with trees and fences and goofy decorations like a crashed UFO. Upgrading your personal storage lockers is important because you need to collect treasures for fun, and they give you treasure points that are used to grant users access to better purchases. And of course you can visit your friends' houses and level up and rank on the leaderboard.

Strategy
My favorite strategy is to quickly grab all the dollar signs in the locker which grant exp and cash. Then quickly add up the approximate value of all the items in the locker by memory and place the first bid accordingly.

Also note that you need to spend money to make money, in the sense of expanding personal storage lockers, truck space, replenishing energy and general upgrades. But always have more than enough cash on hand in case you come across a storage locker than has a lot of expensive items, it wouldn't be fun to miss out on a great chance due to a lack of funds.

Summary
Storage Wars: The Game is a pretty decent tribute to Storage Wars the television show so if you are/were a fan, you might enjoy playing the game. The game however is lighter on the auctioning side and replaced with a sort of collecting and reputation building style. So all in all I liked the game more than the show but neither come into consideration for my top ten lists.
